Puget Sound Energy and Seattle City Light pay different amounts. Here is which one covers your address.

Your utility decides what you can claim

There is no single Washington rebate. What you can claim depends on who sends your power bill, and this service area straddles two utilities. Seattle addresses are served by Seattle City Light. Bellevue, Renton, Kent, Federal Way and most of the rest of the corridor are Puget Sound Energy.

They are separate programs with separate amounts and separate rules, so a page that lumps them together will tell half its readers the wrong thing. On top of whichever one covers you, there is a federal tax credit of up to 30% on qualifying high efficiency heat pumps.

We have completed four different projects with Ready Energy Solutions, and Alex and his team have been great to work with every time.<br><br>At our home, they installed a large Mitsubishi with a ducted unit and two ceiling cassettes. They also ran new ductwork, made sure everything was functioning properly, and adjusted an existing system by relocating units and completing some custom work. The system they recommended is working great, and we have been very happy with the results.<br><br>At our rental home, they installed an American Standard ducted system with a gas furnace and heat pump for air conditioning.
